• Dual steel core: Ultra-hardened steel strips and aerospace-grade steel cable for resistance to multiple types of tools.
• Spacers keep the hardened steel elements evenly distributed around the cable, preserving both flexibility and protection.
• Floating metal elements slide in guide channels to allow for natural cable movement.

Full Cable Flexibility Preserved

Despite its hardened steel construction, the EV Cable Shield adds minimal weight (approximately 6-8 lbs / 2.7-3.6 kg distributed over a 15-20 ft / 4.5-6 m cable length) and preserves ease of use as well as the cable's normal bend radius.

DyeDefender™ Option

A pressurized deterrent tube that releases blue dye when cut — marking thieves and creating a powerful visual deterrent. Includes a yellow warning plate.

Universal Compatibility

• Compatible with Level 2 and Level 3 cables (DC fast charging, BRCC).
• Compatible with cable management systems.
• Does not interfere with electrical performance, heat dissipation, or connectors.
